Ok, so today our new television came in.. it's a LG 42LF65, a full HD one. Now if only there were some HDTV channels or if we had a Blu-Ray player.

Regarding national exams, well I've stopped caring already...it's not interesting anymore. I think I'm just doing the drawing stuff, and quit the other stuff or do them later. I applied for the college and I've gotten in, all that is left is get the motivation letter posted, as well as asking about regarding the entrance exams, which seem much more doable than the former (lazy lol).

Sem keeps eating bread in my room lol.

So I'm in the middle of writing a history essay of sorts... going to be between 2 and 6 pages long. Not that long, so I figured Kabuki wouldn't be a too broad subject. I need to answer the question "What was the role of Kabuki in Japanese history?" Something like that anyway.

One of the subquestions is: How is Kabuki's influence the contemporary media?

I might make some mentions like anime, music and J-drama? Movies?

I'll give you the anime examples:
Bakumatsu Kikansetsu Irohanihoheto (Kakunojou's troupe, etc etc)

and also, Mononoke? I've always wondered whether MS's make up relates to Kabuki make up. The sound effects, the curtains, etc... what have you noticed? I should ask this in the community too I guess.

Is there any more anime like that?

It's easily the best song so far and I'm loving it so much. The song starts of like a ballad, but when the chorus starts to kick in you really feel the unmistakable Kanno magic working. *dies of happiness* Gah, I can't wait for the full version!

For quite a few reasons Nabari no Ou reminded me of Tokyo Majin. Although it wasn't nearly as ambitious, it was surprisingly enjoyable.

Well, the first episode... The deculture edition left a stronger impression, but this one fleshed some stuff out, as well as add in a missing plot point for the upcoming eps.

OP song is good (and addictive)! The visuals going with it is fitting and flows nicely. I liked the transitions. There is even a temporary ED song by Nakajima Megumi with Gabriela Robin lyrics, a bit like Omna Magni....

So this is a shout out for all *insert a language here*-learners to go join lang-8.com! :) As you can see, it is basically a journal system with a linguistic approach. You can read more about it here.

Then more people went to correct my Indonesian entry (straight from my head) and I'm really embarrassed about that one. I am not posting the correction as it's not very interesting text, basically an explanation on how I learned Indonesian and blablabla.

The thing that is holding me back is that I haven't properly studied the grammar for these two Asian languages (those people must have noticed lmao) or have read a lot of text by natives, which I did for English, German and French... I've gone on completely different routes between those two and the other 3 (5?) Plus, western languages and Asian languages are worlds' apart of course.

I really like lang-8, it isn't huge, yet, and the interface isn't topnotch; there's room for improvement duh... I've yet to see some Dutch entries by non-natives, I'm a bit hesitant about correcting English texts >_>;

Side notes:
- BKI is licensed?! It was probably the last thing I ever expected to be licensed... It doesn't seem like that kind of material to be released overseas. ...I patiently wait for another confirmation.

- My cousin asked my brother to tell me I should sign up for Hyves to keep in contact with me, but the thing is: I HATE THAT SITE. It's basically the Dutch version of MySpace. I guess do want and do not want to contact her.. we never meet anymore due to issues with relatives, so that's a shame, then again I don't have much to talk about with her. She's the accomplished grandchild of my dad's side of the family, and I'm one of the failures (for now), who likes to work herself into trouble!

- I've been wasting my time on sims 2 once again, inspired by a certain person. *blames* :(

It's Good Friday. Unfortunately I won't be attending to the celgroup again when I wanted to. *sigh* It's raining a lot, and we may have snow/rain tomorrow as well.

I have my hobby blog FADA (a temporary name) up at iroha.nu, it's mainly stuff that doesn't fit on here, and I'm not posting personal stuff there, it will stay here of course. FADA may or may not become an anime blog. I'm trying to think of some things I wanted to post there. It's not really finished yet, although I've did some work on upgrading the blog to WP 2.5 RC1.. which looks so much better. I hated the old admin layout, and it made me hesitant in using it lol.

Fanlisting collective also received much needed new layout, now onto the others... Gah, poor Hiichan. DX

Gundam 00 fans on my flist! I have caught up onto episode 18, and will be with you until the end (doesn't that sound good?!). If you aren't following it for whatever reason, the introductory episodes weren't very good and a bit lackluster, I got stuck at episode 2 due to that. I've gotten into it quite quickly around episode 5/6 or something (marathons are the best!).

My favorites would have to be Setsuna, Marina, Sumeragi , Graham and the Chris/Felt combo hehe. For some reason I'm liking Setsuna/Marina quite a bit, even if it doesn't make sense (yet), you know what I mean... >_> but there's something about it!

Found out nouchi deleted her (inactive) journal, and that was pretty much the last thing I could use to contact her (although I haven't done so for a looooong time, shame on me). I highly doubt she uses her email anymore... and I'm a bit hesitant with other measures.

...I don't know what to say to this. She was my first 'internet/fandom' friend, and the first and the only one until now to have contacted by other means (sending post cards, almost meeting up and such). Gah, I don't know, I'm not mad or anything, it just leaves me wondering. I still care, but now that we have parted our ways, and I suppose we should move on or something. I had been too pushy I think. I did expect it to happen.

Considering everything, I've been pretty foolish.
