Red rice wine (sake), anyone?

So after almost everyone left the boss was randomly like "lol lets get drunk 8D!" and made the chef serve us some warm red sake. The customers get white sake, so I didn't know what kind of wine it was until she told me.

Well, I want to be a "stay in control" person for personal reasons, so I got a small bowl to taste a bit (the others had big ones o_o; like, big soup bowls) It's actually quite sweet, I barely tasted the alcohol... good, but not very fond of the flavor when I was about to finish it.
